TecSA is reaching a new milestone in its international growth path with the upcoming installation of the first TC 255 dynamometer in Germany, followed by a second installation in China at a major global leader in the design and production of friction materials for braking systems.
The company, employing around 4,500 people and present in more than 20 countries worldwide, is renowned for the development of brake pads for disc brakes and linings for drum brakes, serving both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OE) and the aftermarket.
Its brands are recognized benchmarks in the sector, providing high-quality solutions for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, industrial applications, and motorsport — with a mission to develop advanced braking technologies that ensure maximum safety, performance, and sustainability.

The TC 255 represents the reference machine for testing high-performance cars, hybrid and electric vehicles characterized by high speeds, strong accelerations and decelerations, and greater overall masses.
It is a test bench designed to deliver maximum operational flexibility, allowing performance testing on brakes of all kinds — from motorcycles to sports and racing cars, up to the latest generation of electric vehicles.

Among the main types of tests that can be performed with the TC 255:
• Performance and durability tests on all types of brakes;
• NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) tests for acoustic and dynamic characterization of the braking system;
• Advanced research testing on regenerative braking, EPB (Electric Parking Brake), and WLTP cycles;
• Specialized analysis on residual torque, wear, and particulate emissions generated during braking (dust analysis).

The project stood out during the selection phase thanks to the technical superiority of TecSA’s test bench compared to competitors:
• unmatched flexibility, allowing the machine to adapt to different types of applications;
• the high technological value of mechanical components, designed to achieve the best performance in research and development;
• a very high level of customization, made possible by a dedicated technical team capable of designing tailor-made solutions;
• the ability to provide customers with a truly “tailor-made” dynamometer, designed precisely around their R&D needs.

With these two new installations, TecSA confirms its technological leadership in the field of brake testing systems, further strengthening its global presence and ability to support customers through every phase of product development — from experimental testing to industrial validation.
