TecSA strengthens its position as a leading innovator in braking system testing with the filing of a new strategic patent entitled “Method and system for braking actuation and management for the simultaneous control of two or more brakes of the same vehicle on bench braking tests.”

The patent is the direct result of TecSA’s very high level of specialized expertise in test bench design, advanced control algorithm development, and the use of high-performance dynamometers, which played a central role both in the implementation and in the experimental validation of the solution.

The method enables the simultaneous control of multiple brakes of the same vehicle during bench tests, achieving an unprecedented level of correlation with real road conditions.

The system is based on a data processing unit that sets target braking parameters and manages them dynamically through continuous monitoring of control parameters detected by sensors installed on the test benches.

Throughout the entire test cycle, the acquired data are continuously compared with predefined reference limit values.

In the absence of critical conditions, the set parameters remain unchanged; when a limit condition is reached, the system automatically adapts the braking parameters according to the detected condition, ensuring adaptive, stable, and highly reliable control of brake interaction.

TecSA engineers played a decisive role in every phase of the project: from the definition of control logics and model calibration to final validation on TecSA dynamometers, used as the technological reference platform for high-precision and highly repeatable advanced testing.

The project was led by founder Angelo Geuna, who coordinated a highly specialized team with unique multidisciplinary expertise in dynamic braking system testing.

This patent also delivers a clear message to the market and to TecSA’s customers: TecSA offers not only advanced technologies and products, but also top-level engineering expertise capable of supporting the development, validation, and optimization of the most complex braking systems.

TecSA positions itself as a strategic technology partner for companies seeking reliable, advanced, and truly representative testing solutions.

With this innovation, TecSA further strengthens its role as a benchmark for addressing present and future challenges in braking system testing.
